| | irishman david holmes began his production career in the early | |
| | 90's with various styles of intelligent techno & pretty trance | |
| | (such as his scubadevils collab with dub federation). after an | |
| | early single on warp, he became much more famous after signing | |
| | to go! discs, also home to portishead (who i will be featuring | |
| | next week). his releases here, typically co-produced by cooner | |
| | & burns of the aloof (see: accelerator 005), took on a funkier | |
| | sound which has progressed through the nineties to his current | |
| | style that sounds like it was recorded in the 60s! he has also | |
| | done remix work for various artists, such as saint etienne and | |
| | system 7, and produced sound-tracks for television and cinema. | |
