| | bill drummond and jimmy cauty are better known as the klf, the | |
| | justified ancients of mu mu (the jams), the timelords and many | |
| | other pseudonyms. as a duo they formed the most innovative and | |
| | influential group in the history of dance music - or were they | |
| | just a coupla blokes having a laugh? during the six years that | |
| | they worked together their careers encompassed: pioneering use | |
| | of samplers; scottish rap; pop-stardom; genre-defining trance, | |
| | "ambient house" and club music; and even thrash rock performed | |
| | at the brit awards! sadly they (formally) stopped making music | |
| | together in 1992 but they surfaced occasionally throughout the | |
| | 90's with various projects. most recently cauty has been doing | |
| | some production work and drummond has written an autobiography | |
