| | i figured that richie hawtin's 20 minute long acid-house remix | |
| | of 'alpha wave' was a bit too full-on for college airplay so i | |
| | started today's system 7 programme with their own remix of the | |
| | track instead! i continued with some tunes from their 95 album | |
| | 'power of seven' which featured collaborations with carl craig | |
| | and the orb's alex paterson (track 03) amongst others. 96 then | |
| | marked the issue of their remix mix-album 'system express' and | |
| | finally their most recent album, 'golden section', came out in | |
| | 1997 and displayed a more breakbeaty/jungly style. hillage and | |
| | co have been rather quiet in recent years but hopefully, after | |
| | having formed their own alpha-wave record label and reissued a | |
| | few of their more recent albums, they'll be releasing some new | |
| | material soon. check their official system 7 website for news. | |
