| | for my 88th programme i thought it would be fun to take a trip | |
| | back to '88 for a variety of truly classic dance music. so the | |
| | show today featured a selection of seminal tunes from '88 (and | |
| | 1989 and 1990 to give me a slightly wider range to work with!) | |
| | and included such delights as: ambient house from the beloved, | |
| | 808 state and the grid, an early single as bassomatic from top | |
| | producer william orbit, a wicked track from tim simenon's bomb | |
| | the bass which rips off the main theme from the movie 'assault | |
| | on precinct 13', early house anthems from frankie knuckles and | |
| | raze and various other tracks from technotronic, inner city, a | |
| | guy called gerald and s'express. in accelerator next week i'll | |
| | be staying in the eighties with the sound of the art of noise. | |
