| | "the wonderful world of underworld" | |
| | karl hyde and rick smith's band, underworld, was reinvented in | |
| | the early 90s when they were joined by deejay darren emmerson. | |
| | the new underworld began to produce beautiful dance music with | |
| | often surreal spoken lyrics typified by their classic album of | |
| | 1993 'dubnobasswithmyheadman'. they continued, becoming better | |
| | known in '96 when a version of their 'born slippy' featured in | |
| | the movie 'trainspotting', and have worked on remixes for many | |
| | artists including dreadzone, orbital, front 242, leftfield and | |
| | björk. they are signed to record label junior boys' own (jbo). | |
