| | in today's show i featured tracks from brian dougans and garry | |
| | cobain best known for their work as the future sound of london | |
| | and who i previously covered in march 2000 in accelerator 007. | |
| | i spanned a decade of the duo's output in the programme moving | |
| | from some of their early dance/rave tracks under various names | |
| | through their mid-90's ambient work for which they're probably | |
| | best known and finally onto two releases from 2001 (both mixes | |
| | of their eternal classic 'papua new guinea' taken respectively | |
| | from a new remix single and from their most recent album which | |
| | is a collection of their own reworkings (or "translations") of | |
| | the track). i also played fsol remixes of the shamen and inner | |
| | city which are two of the disappointingly few remixes of music | |
| | by other artists from cobain and dougans. for more info on the | |
