| | this year i'm taking an alphabetical look at early 1990's rave | |
| | music: old skool hardcore and jungle plus cheesy top-40 dance! | |

| | today's was another show starting with a bit of jungle, with a | |
| | classic from moving shadow, but then slowed down significantly | |
| | with a top-5 hit from opus iii infamously sampled on orbital's | |
| | gorgeous 'halcyon'. then, rather appropriately, i played three | |
| | early releases from orbital themselves plus their remix of the | |
| | pied piper's 'kinetic'. then three huge old skool anthems: the | |
| | "31 seconds" track from origin unknown on ram records, a remix | |
| | of '91 belgian techno-rave tune 'the vamp' and a collaboration | |
| | between krome & time and austin reynolds (on the suburban base | |
| | label). finally a quirky early rave track from the aphex twin! | |
