| | "the magical sounds of banco de gaia" | |
| | toby marks launched his musical career as banco de gaia with a | |
| | series of tape-only albums but he became better known after he | |
| | signed to the planet dog record label in 1993. his distinctive | |
| | style of light dance music with world influences progressed in | |
| | the mid-90's but sadly went downhill (in my opinion!) with the | |
| | arrival of other musicians to form a band for their 1997 album | |
| | 'big men cry'. in this programme i played some of my favourite | |
| | tunes - from before 1997! for more info see the banco website. | |
